Drone Mine Detection Vehicle

The Poison Lizard Drone Mine Detection Vehicle is a modified vehicle mounted mine detection system based on the Poison Lizard armored vehicle. The nest of the mine detection system is installed at the rear of the armored vehicle roof.

The operator sitting in the passenger seat can open the top cover of the nest with one click and automatically release the mine detection drone. The mine detection drone flies to the front to quickly detect the distribution of landmines/IEDs and automatically calibrate the target, guiding the armored vehicle to safely and quickly pass through dangerous areas or use on-board weapons to destroy suspicious explosive targets.

The Poison Lizard armored vehicle is modified from a domestic special off-road chassis, with a maximum total weight of 12 tons. The appearance of the vehicle adopts the most popular armored vehicle design internationally, and the body is made of imported bulletproof materials and adopts an overlapping bulletproof structure design to ensure the protective performance of the vehicle. The overall bulletproof performance of the vehicle meets the bulletproof requirements of EU EN1522 FB6 and NATO 4569 Class I.

The height of the carriage floor above the ground exceeds 1.1 meters, combined with the trapezoidal carriage floor, which gives the vehicle a certain level of lightning protection capability. The rear of the car is equipped with a central tailgate, which, in conjunction with the folding seat layout facing the rear of the car, ensures that passengers can quickly get on and off the vehicle. The front row of the vehicle is equipped with 2 front and passenger seats, and the rear row is equipped with 12 side folding seats. The entire vehicle can carry 14 combat personnel, meeting the needs of delivering a large number of soldiers.

The standard Cummins 5.9-liter L6 turbocharged diesel engine can output 210 horsepower and 700Nm of high torque, making the vehicle powerful with a maximum speed of 110km/h. The electronic controlled part-time four-wheel drive system, combined with 365mm wide military large-sized off-road tires, makes the vehicle's off-road performance superior. The chassis of this armored riot vehicle can be optionally equipped with left-hand or right-hand drive models, meeting the requirements of traffic regulations in different countries.

It is a new generation modular mine sweeping tool developed to address the phenomenon of armored vehicles lacking autonomous mine detection capabilities and advanced tanks being repeatedly destroyed in the Russia Ukraine war. It is based on the rich technological research and development capabilities and product application experience of Hongpeng in the field of explosive detection and processing, achieving the integrated design and production of vehicle mounted mine detection aircraft nests, multi rotor unmanned aerial vehicles, and airborne magnetic gradienters.
