Water Tower Fire Truck Introduction

Product Definition
An aerial-monitor fire truck mounts a folding boom, remote-controlled monitor and large-capacity tanks on a cargo or special chassis. The boom lifts tens of metres above obstacles to deliver high-flow water or foam directly onto the fire, making it ideal for high-rise buildings, petro-chemical installations and large-span industrial halls.

Structural Features

Folding/telescopic boom: 2-6 box or truss sections, hydraulically driven, 360° rotation; side/rear mounting for minimum footprint and maximum stability

Remote monitor: mounted on boom tip, 100-150 m wireless/wired control, 0-80 L/s adjustable flow, straight-stream, spray and foam modes

Large-diameter feed lines: aluminium or stainless steel, ≥2.5 MPa rating, quick-coupled ends for rapid "aerial main" connection into the building

High-capacity tanks: water 4.4-18 t, foam 2-3 t, separate pipework prevents cross-contamination; internal baffles for driving stability

Intelligent control: CAN-bus + electro-hydraulic proportional valves for one-button deployment, automatic levelling and automatic amplitude control; load-sensing feedback ensures smooth, accurate boom movement

Key Performance (mainstream 32-72 m models)

Maximum working height: 32-72 m

Maximum working outreach: 21-33 m

Monitor throw: water ≥70-85 m, foam ≥60-75 m

Pump flow: 70-170 L/s @1.0-1.7 MPa

Deployment time: ≤30 s

Outrigger span: transverse 5-6 m, longitudinal 6-7 m, 360° continuous rotation

Application Scenarios

High-rise buildings: >54-90 m super high-rises-external rapid attack reduces internal-entry risk

Petrochemical plants: towers, tanks, reactors-long-range high-flow foam blanket

Large-span halls/warehouses: >11 m span-boom reaches over obstacles for direct jet

Yards/stacks: three-dimensional fire-fighting to stop fire spread

Operational Advantages

Height & reach: 72 m model throws 85 m, covering floors above the 20th storey

High-flow suppression: 100-170 L/s water + foam dual agents for instant cooling and oxygen isolation

Precise remote control: 100 m wireless operation keeps firefighters away from heat and toxic gases

Multi-function integration: optional thermal imager, UAV video link, breaching tools for simultaneous "attack + reconnaissance + clearance"

Technology Trends

Large span + high mobility: K-type outriggers, small turning radius for narrow plant roads

Intelligence: one-button water launch, fire-scene monitoring, cloud-based remote management

Eco-efficiency: National VI chassis, load-sensing hydraulics cut fuel consumption and emissions

Multi-role expansion: boom tip can swap to breaching claw, lighting tower or smoke extractor-one truck, multiple roles

With its unique "high, far, large and accurate" capabilities, the aerial-monitor fire truck has become an "aerial spear" for modern urban and industrial fire-fighting, significantly enhancing professional response to complex fires in high-rises, large spans and petro-chemical facilities.
